This course is for anyone in a work environment and teaches learners’ awareness of the principles risk assessment.
The Principles of Risk Assessment makes all employees to be aware of risks, not all employees will be expected to undertake risk assessments themselves, they may contribute to this process and will be aware how to protect their own health and safety and that of others.
The Risk Assessment Awareness course is intended to give managers and other employees who have responsibility for carrying out risk assessment in their workplaces an improved level of awareness of the legal and practical issues related to this task. Candidates will learn how their organisation can apply hazard identification methods in conjunction with a hierarchy of risk controls to ensure the development of an effective risk control management system, including how to monitor, audit and review the documentation and control protocols.
